Apply soap or bathroom cleanser to the area and gently use a blade to scrape it off. Then after that use old newspaper to wipe the soap awayHow to remove dried soap and shampoo from a my bathroom wall made of ceramic tiles?
it's probably not soap, but calcium. lots of that in water in the form of lime. vinegar works. there's this product called clr(calcium, lime, and rust) but it's got a nasty sounding warning on the label.
Try lemon juice. It is acidic and works well on soap scum.
Try vinegar. It contains acetic acid; most acetates are soluble. There are also commercial preparations that could work; inquire at a home supply store.
I think Tilex makes a soap scum remover. In college we called it 'God in a bottle' because it was the only thing that could clean up the guys' bathrooms at the end of semester.
